Villagers of Juva, Bhaidgaon, Borgaon, Bungalow etc. under Dugadda block have been protesting for 11 days demanding the construction of a bridge across the Langurgad river. Villagers are struggling for a year. The villagers alleged that in the name of construction of the bridge, only assurances were being received from the government. In the absence of a bridge, during the rainy season, they have to walk for many kilometers by climbing a steep climb through the forest. The villagers said that the agitation would continue till the bridge was built.
