Wife accused of assaulting old mother,
The SDM has handed over the investigation of the assault case between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law in village Seela of Sila belt of Dugadda development block to the revenue police.
In the Tahrir given to SDM Lansdowne on behalf of Naresh Chandra, a resident of Sila village, he has accused his wife of assault. Said that the dispute between him and his wife is pending in the court. His mother Ramkali Devi is a 75-year-old woman, who is living in her house in the village. Due to the dispute, the wife has been given a separate house to live in. Said that on November 10, his wife along with her brother came to his house and started beating the old mother. It is alleged that the wife also left her two children with the mother and went away. Based on the Tahrir, the SDM has ordered the Revenue Police to investigate. Naib Tehsildar Harish Joshi told that orders have been given to Sila-2 Revenue Inspector Umesh Sharma to investigate and take action. PRD jawan seriously injured in road accident
A PRD jawan, who was coming to Kotdwara with government post from Paukhal-Dugadda road, was seriously injured in a road accident. People took him to Kotdwar Base Hospital, where the doctors referred him to the Higher Center after first aid when his condition was critical.
PRD jawan Subhash Chandra was on duty with the Revenue Inspector in Paukhal. On Saturday evening, he was coming to Kotdwar by bike with the mail of the Revenue Department. Then a Max hit him near Paukhal and badly injured him. People took him to the Government Base Hospital. Doctors told that many bones of his leg were broken, due to which he was referred to a higher center.
