National Inter-School Junior Master Chef Online Competition was organized by the Institute of Hospitality Management and Sciences (IHMS), in which more than 100 Junior Chefs under the age group of 18 years from different schools of the country participated in the competition. He displayed his culinary skills by preparing delicious indigenous and foreign delicacies. During this, Tanya of Kotdwar told the most delicious dishes. While the second and third prizes were also received by Kotdwar itself.
In the competition organized in the institute campus on Friday, a list of 18 best dishes was prepared, out of which three best dishes were awarded. Based on the scores awarded by the judges, Tanya from Kotdwar for preparing Garhwali cuisine was first, Sanjeevani of Kotdwar was second for preparing South Indian cuisine and for Nest (Snacks) prepared from Potato, Paneer The third prize was given to Swati of Kotdwar.
The jury of the competition included Mohd Shamsad, Executive Pastry Chef from Saudi Arabia, Celebrity Chef Neelu Kora from Punjab and Professor Gerald Garnald M Pughlan from Camarines Polytechnic College from Philippines. The sponsors of the competition were Sugandha Malhotra, Founder, Amasha Masalou, Media Partner Sharad Tripathi. On this occasion, Director of the Institute BS Negi, AD Ajay Raj Negi, Director Academic Sunil Kumar, Head of Hotel Management Department Pradeep Rawat etc. were present.
