J&K First Woman Became A Fighter Pilot In The Air Force, 23 year old-
23-year-old Mavya Sudan is the first daughter of Jammu and Kashmir who has achieved the distinction of becoming a female fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. Maya, a resident of Rajouri, is the 12th woman fighter pilot in the country to do so. Mavya, a resident of Lambadi village in Rajouri, studied at Carmel Convent School in Jammu. After that he did his graduation in Political Science from DAV in Chandigarh. Maya had cleared the Air Force entrance exam last year itself. Maya participated as the only female fighter pilot in the passing out parade held at Hyderabad's Dundigal Air Force Academy on Saturday. He has been appointed as a Flying Officer in the Air Force. During this, Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria was also present.

Avani Chaturvedi and Mohana Singh also became fighter pilots with him. Avni hails from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. His father is an executive engineer and brother is in the army. Bhavna hails from Begusarai in Bihar. Mohana is from Vadodara, Gujarat. His father is a warrant officer in the Air Force.
