 Meteorologists issue yellow alert-

There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places during the next 24 hours in Nainital and Champawat districts. In view of this, meteorologists have issued a yellow alert. According to the advisory issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in most areas of these districts. Strong thunderstorms may occur in other areas. There is also a possibility of lightning in some areas. 

Preparation for Lok Sabha elections 2024 - 

The formation of five new organizational districts was informed in a meeting of newly appointed state officials and district presidents under the chairmanship of state president Mahendra Bhatt on Sunday.  Haldwani arrested copying mafia of UP-

Shashikant, a resident of district Chandauli (Varanasi Mandal) of Uttar Pradesh, has been caught by the police in the VPDO exam question paper leak case. Shashikant was currently living in Haldwani. Police said that he has been arrested after strong evidence. The accused has opened four online examination centers which are operating in Haldwani, Almora, Champawat and Pithoragarh. So far more than 40 exams have been conducted online in these exam centres. Not only this, a case was also registered against Shashikant in Uttarakhand for cheating in CTET exam in 2013 in Haldwani. Despite this, he was operating the online examination center.
